Our cleaning process

The health and safety of our coworker and customers is our top priority especially during this unprecedented time. That's why we have heightened measures in our hygiene care system to ensure that all items are sanitized and stored properly until the next use. 

For Veils : 

we partner with our local dry-cleaner who is professional in cleaning and sanitizing garments for hotels and hospitals. At the end of the cleaning process, every item is packed in a sealed bag and stored carefully before they are packed again for the next shipment. 

For Jewelries : 

we clean the products by hand and use a sterilizer which is suitable to be used for baby toys. This steriliser kills 99% of bacteria and viruses without any use of chemical. 

HOW TO CARE FOR OUR Jewelry?

General care : 

All our beautiful jewelry will arrive in a soft pouch of its own, so that they don’t rub together, scratch or tangle up. Please keep it that way when you carry them around.

If you are not wearing them yet, keep them in the pouch and in a cool dry place – i.e. your makeup table drawer.

Put on your jewelry only AFTER you finished with perfume / lotion / hair spray. 

Cleaning : 

DO NOT try to clean your accessories unless it is absolutely necessary!! 

A fresh anti-dust jewelry cloth will be sent to you with every rental. ONLY use this cloth to wipe your jewelry for any dust. 

For earrings, a one-time use alcohol wipe will be sent with every rental. Only use that for the earring Studs / Hooks. DO NOT use on any other parts of the earrings especially on the stone. 

Party is usually on the agenda and we know things can happen. If you do happen to spill liquid onto a jewelry, make sure you wipe it off with DRY clean cloth. DO NOT wet it further and DO NOT use any jewelry cleaner. We will treat it once the item is returned to us.

METAL ALLERGIES

If you have any known allergies to metal, do not wear any of our products. 

If you get a rash or allergic reaction when wearing our products, please take them off right away and consult a doctor if necessary.

Materials used are listed in the “Product Details” part for every product.

No nickel is used in any of our products and here’s a summary of the most common materials used : 

Sterling silver – 925 nickel-free & rhodium plated 

Gold / Rose plated – gold plating at least 0.5 microns thick but the base material can be sterling silver or brass

Gold / Rose vermeil – have sterling silver as base. Be plated in gold of at least 10k & thickness* of 2.5 microns. *different countries have different regulations on how thick the plating must be in order to qualify as vermeil

How to care for our veils?

General care : 

Our veils are very delicate so try to avoid any sharp edges when wearing / trying it on - YES, we do mean your big bling on your finger or your beautiful gel nails. Also be very careful with Velcro as it will ruin the fabric. 

Creasing : 

NEVER IRON YOUR VEIL 

Any creasing that has occurred during shipping is likely to drop out on its own, but you can help the process alogn by hanging the veil in a steamy bathroom. If it is too intense, use a handheld steamer in the lowest setting, as heat may melt the fabric. 

Packing : 

Make sure you wrape the comb (if there is any) with the tissue paper that is provided in the box. Fold the veils first and the comb last. Here's a small tutorial video for your reference : [VIDEO]
